I was encouraged by a friend to try making small quilts for a craft show after she saw the 8″ x 10″ portrait I did of my father lobstering. I completed 7 mini quilts for the show of various images such as flowers or holiday scenes which were all purchased at the craft show. I have been gathering more ideas to work on additional mini quilts in the near future. I also made about 40 quilted table runners to use up some of the 2″ squares I had already cut for the watercolor style quilts, averaging 20″ x 36″.
